Volunteers

Volunteers are an important part of M‑NASR. We welcome volunteers age 16 and over to help uphold our mission to provide individuals with disabilities access to meaningful and life-enriching recreation and leisure opportunities. For more information about volunteering with M‑NASR, contact Lisa Barrera, Superintendent of Recreation, at lbarrera@mnasr.org. For the safety of our participants, all volunteers are required to complete a volunteer service application and a successful criminal background check.

Internships

M-NASR offers a paid internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in special recreation. This internship is ideal for students who are interested in a more in-depth learning experience in community recreation. For more information, see our internships page.
