$16,000 raised in support of M-NASR
On Tuesday, August 11, the skies cleared after a stormy morning and something special happened at the Skokie Sports Park. The Liponi Foundation’s Mini Golf Fundraiser drew a sold-out crowd–more than 200 guests–and raised nearly $16,000, a new record for the event.
But the numbers only tell part of the story. To everyone who swung a club, bought raffle tickets, sponsored the event or made a financial donation, thank you. This decades-long tradition keeps growing because of a community that shows up, year after year, to celebrate abilities, connection and giving back.
A big thank you to the Skokie Park District opens in new tab for generously providing the venue and the food, and to Will‘s Place opens in new tab nonprofit café for donating their delicious desserts. For a full list of our generous sponsors, click here.
Every dollar raised directly supports life-enriching recreation opportunities for the individuals served by the Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation (M-NASR).
